At the core of the Negative Supply Essential Kit for Film Scanning MK2 is the Basic Film Carrier 35 MK2 which offers superior film flatness and is capable of scanning all 35mm film formats including half frame, full frame (standard 35mm), and panoramic sizes in a single capture. Not only does the Basic Film Carrier 35 MK2 support all standard 35mm formats but is also capable of holding 110, 126, APS and Minox film with optional internal cassettes! This carrier also supports full border scanning with our optional Full Border Scanning Cassette.
The all-new Light Source 35 is an ultra bright light source capable of illuminating up to 35mm film with perfect uniformity and a high 97+ CRI rating for high colour accuracy. Also included is a Light Source 35 Adapter Plate for the Basic Film Carrier 35 MK2 to keep your carrier firmly attached to the light source, ensuring a confident workflow.
Most importantly, the latest Essential Kit for 35mm Film Scanning includes Negative Supply's all-new Basic Riser Mini MK3. They listened to user feedback and designed this copy stand with standard DSLR and Mirrorless cameras in mind. Previously, the Basic Riser MK2 was limited to smaller mirrorless cameras with small, usually adapted manual focus macro lenses. They’ve now gone with a significantly larger column and head design that removes all compromises from previous designs.
