The Leofoto MA-30L Rifle Ball Head features the Rapid-Lock System to add unique safety-stop features, like the 5mm diameter steel pin that engages the 5.5mm diameter holes in the rail. In addition to supplementing the traditional friction-based clamping mechanism, the interface prevents unintentional reposition of the rail within the clamp when the Rapid-Lock is engaged.
The double-clamp design can accept both Arca-type plates and gun rails.
